RCL Making a Difference

"Hi, I’m Sipho, and I’m in the RCL at a Johannesburg School. Some learners were teasing a new student because they were from another country. Our RCL had recently run a campaign about respect and inclusion for everyone.

I spoke up during assembly, and together with other RCL members, we organized a welcome activity for new learners. By taking action through the RCL, we helped make our school a safer, friendlier place."
